I cannot recommend Nadine enough. She is incredibly kind, genuinely understanding, and always makes me feel heard and supported. Her expertise shines through in every session. Her therapy techniques are practical, effective, and tailored to exactly what I needed. Thanks to her guidance, I’ve been able to grow, heal, and get to where I needed to be in life. Adults come to NTD at different points, some early, some after years of managing something alone, some after previous attempts at support that did not hold. Nadine works across all of these.
The psychology services available at NTD include:
Persistent worry, physical tension, and avoidance that has started to limit daily life
Low mood, withdrawal, and loss of motivation that is not shifting on its own
Bereavement, sudden change, or the kind of loss that does not have a clear name
Burnout, conflict, performance pressure, and the point where work begins to affect everything else
Patterns in relationships, communication breakdown, or significant life changes affecting close connections
Identity, direction, and adjustment during periods of meaningful change
Responses to distressing events that continue to affect how you function day to day
Sessions are available in-person and via telehealth. Where you are located does not determine whether you can access support.
Use the form on this page or call directly. No referral, no diagnosis, no perfectly worded explanation required. A brief sense of what you are looking for is enough.
Nadine or a member of the team will be in touch to discuss your situation, answer questions, and confirm NTD is the right fit. Practical conversation. Not a clinical assessment.
Once fit is confirmed, your first session is booked. Bookings generally available within 2 weeks.
Nadine Dardaneliotis has been a registered psychologist for over 25 years. That length of practice means one thing in practical terms: very little is unfamiliar.
Whether someone is navigating something for the first time or has been carrying something for years, the approach is the same: individual, considered, and without a template.
Nadine holds board-approved supervisor status, which means she is also accredited to supervise other registered psychologists. For clients, that translates simply: she is a senior clinician who stays current, is accountable to a higher standard, and brings genuine depth to every session.
Clinicians seeking a referral partner for complex presentations will find Nadine accepts referrals and communicates actively with referring practitioners. Board-approved supervisor status means the clinical accountability is documented, not assumed.
Under the Better Access scheme, Medicare rebates apply to sessions with a registered psychologist. Access requires a GP referral and a Mental Health Treatment Plan. The rebate covers up to 10 sessions per calendar year; it is a partial rebate, not a free service, and the annual cap applies regardless of clinical need. $98.95 rebate for 10 sessions (50 mins each) in a year with a GP Mental Health Care Plan.
Psychologists complete a minimum of six years of university training supervision and are registered with AHPRA. That registration is what makes psychology sessions Medicare-eligible under Better Access. Counsellors and therapists hold varying qualifications and are not AHPRA-regulated; their sessions are not rebatable under the same scheme.
NTD Psychology and Consulting offers sessions in-person at offices in Paragon Physiotherapy in Glenmore Park Village and Silverdale Shopping Centre and via telehealth across Australia. A GP referral is the standard starting point for Medicare-rebated access, but not a requirement to make an initial enquiry.
Telehealth sessions follow the same Medicare pathway as in-person sessions, GP referral, Mental Health Treatment Plan, and then sessions with a registered psychologist. Rebates apply to telehealth under the current Better Access rules. Telehealth sessions get the same rebate as face to face sessions.
The Medicare Better Access rebate is the primary cost-reduction pathway for registered psychology services in Australia. Sessions with Nadine are rebatable under this scheme, which offsets a significant portion of the fee. Initial appointment is $290, subsequent sessions are $250. Rebates are $98.95.
Nadine is accepting new clients now.
Before your first session, it helps to have your GP referral, Mental Health Treatment Plan, and Medicare card ready, if you plan to use rebates. None of these are needed to make an initial enquiry.
If you have spent time searching, calling, and hitting dead ends, full books, no callbacks, platforms that signed you up and let you down, this is a different experience.
