You don't have to have it all figured out to begin.
I’m a registered psychologist with over 25 years of experience, and I’ve spent most of my career working with the very real, very human challenges that don’t always have a neat name — the stress that builds quietly, the relationships that start to strain, the life transitions that catch us off guard.

Warmth, honesty, and no judgement.
Therapy with me is not about being analysed or judged. It's about making sense of your experience and finding practical, meaningful ways forward.
People often describe me as warm, thoughtful, and direct. I try to hold that balance carefully — listening deeply, but not letting you stay stuck. I want to help you understand the patterns at play in your thoughts, emotions, and relationships, while also giving you tools that work in the actual texture of your daily life.
I’m also a board-approved supervisor, which means other psychologists come to me to develop and refine their clinical practice. That responsibility keeps me sharp, reflective, and committed to doing this work well.
How I work
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Understanding how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours connect — and learning to shift the patterns that aren't serving you.
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Building psychological flexibility — learning to hold difficult thoughts and feelings without letting them run your life.
Attachment-Based Therapy
Exploring how your early experiences shape the way you relate to yourself and others — and creating space for something different.
Gottman Method (Level 3)
Evidence-based couples therapy focused on deepening friendship, managing conflict, and rebuilding genuine connection.
You may be functioning well on the outside — and still need support.
I work with individuals and couples facing depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, postnatal depression, and the transitions of midlife — including menopause. These experiences can feel isolating, even overwhelming. But they are deeply human, and very workable with the right support.
I tend to work best with people who are thoughtful and reflective — who have some insight into what’s going on, but feel stuck in knowing how to actually change it.
Reassurance note (highlighted box): You don’t need to be in crisis to come and see me. Often the people I work with are managing in many areas of life — they’re just ready for a space to understand themselves more clearly, and to move forward with greater ease.
- Feel anxious, stressed, burnt out or mentally exhausted — even if you appear to be coping on the outside
- Are navigating challenges in your relationship and want practical, evidence-based support to reconnect and communicate more effectively
- Are adjusting to significant life transitions — early parenthood, postnatal changes, or perimenopause and menopause
- Have insight into your patterns, but feel stuck in knowing how to change them
- Value warmth and honesty in equal measure — someone who will listen carefully, and also help you move forward
